Plot: Movie Plot Summary Paragraph

In the movie The Other Guys it takes place in New York and the characters are  Detectives Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg).So these two detectives are very different form eachother. Allen Gamble, who is a nerdy forensic accountant who rather does paperwork then be a cop on the strets ,and theres Terry Hoitz who has a hot temper and has been stuck with his partner Allen ever since he shot Derek Jeter. The conflict starts after the two other detectives Chris Danson (Dwayne Johnson) and P.K. Highsmith (Samuel Jackson) ,who are the better policeman that eveyone loves ,even though they cause so much damage to the city, commites suicide. So Allen and Terry ,who want to be the new heroes,decide to team up together to try to solve the city's biggest case yet. Multi-Billionaire David Ershon has a scafolding violation and plans to take money form the lottery and the police fund and aslo because he owes Lendel Global,another company, a billion dollars and whats to make sure no one stops her from getting it. So Allen and Terry have highs and lows and tend to be there for eachother when Allen loses his head after bringing up his college days as a Pimp and Terry tries to get back with his girlfriend Francine, and when they both are told to lay off of the case. The Climax of the movie is towards the end when Allen and Terry stop the bank from transfering all the money from the bank and Allen and Terry are basically The Other Guys and save the day. The conclusion is that Allen and Sheila (Eva Mendez)) have a child and Terry marry's Francine.
