Poetry Previous Knowledge Paragraph

My favorite poet is Shel Silverstein . Last year in 9th grade I did an poetry assignment on him analyzing his poetry, meaning and voice. I like him because he does funny poetry, but if you look deeper it has a meaning.  Not only did he do poetry but he also draws as well. He was grammy nominated, for a poem which tells a lot about his poetry, it was that good. That is why he is my fav poet.
