Trayvon Martin Paragraph

The meaning of the statement, "We are all Trayvon Martin." Means, just that. We could have all been in that position. Growing up in a black community where I see people wearing hoodies all the time, and always walking back from the liquor store it's a normal thing. Trayvon Martin was a typical teen just walking down the street, minding his own business then someone shoots him. That has to make you think. Why did he get shot? He wasn't armed. Because he had skittles & an Ice Tea. He didn't assault Zimmerman at all, because he was on the phone with his girlfriend. The "reason" was because he was Black & had an on an hoodie, and all of a sudden if you are either one of the two, or both. You are  a threat to someone. What gives a person a right just because someoe looks "suspicious" to take out a gun, pull the trigger and a bullet comes out and ENDS a teenage life, that can never be tooken back.? So when they chant " We are all Trayvon Martin " that's exactly what we are, we are him. They shoot someone that was innocent, isn't that what we all are? Innocent until proven guilty. Welll Trayvon didn't get a fair enough chance.
